December '25. Well... finally... an update page - how well maintained it will be I have no idea! I will at least try to put links to substantial content updates, and maybe a bit of blurb on any major alterations. I've done most of the chunky page design stuff, so I'm mostly happy with that, and I doubt anyone will be interested in how I've altered some font sizes or added a few missing comma's, so i'll just post the links.

March the 29th 2026

Added a page with a load of gifs from a geocities deep-dive, I've hauled these off gifcities, and various old geocities pages on restorativland, one of Kyle Drakes other cool projects. I'll just add to this page over time to amuse myself by patching them together to construct themes and messages.

March the 24th 2026

Added some more stuff to my music page, I've been to see some live classical stuff, not something I've done much of till last year, so yeah, I enjoyed it. I go off on a bit of a tangent, but why not, tangents are cool.

March the 11th 2026

More link buttons done, and I've added a link to a yourworldoftext instance on my homepage (just click the logo image), which will be fine for now as a kind of guestbook/graffiti wall! I might add a proper guestbook at some point,
but yourworldoftext is way cooler I think!

March the 8th 2026

Some more blinkies added, whether the linked sites match the page category is disputable, but I think they are generally in the right ballpark! I've also trimmed some of the swearing on my pages, not all of it - a bit of spice is necessary! Just to add that none of my blinkies are hotlinked - I've noticed that a lot of sites on neocities which have linked to other sites using hotlinked blinkies are not displaying properly for me -
"content not available in your region".

I am in the UK, our goverment is clamping down hard on websites, and the internet in general - so some stuff has just been blocked for UK users - older links, dead-links etc are obviously triggering the blocks. I hate to say this, but our banking system has a lot of global clout, so Ofcom is not toothless - if companies have even a little banking footprint in the UK, then fines can be extracted. Many of them will bend the knee unfortunately - because the UK is a big market to be locked out of. Some of the more subversive sites on neocities have been flipped to NSFW 18+ without being informed - it's not outside the realms of possiblity that neocities has been leant on to do so, or at least done it as a precaution to "keep their heads down" when the Ofcom spotlight points our way - that is speculation on my part, so don't take that as a fact. Neocities has grown as an inoffensive alt-web, a family friendly zone, it's used to teach kids in schools, but it's not a tiny little backwater now
- the Ringwraiths will come sniffing.

March the 7th 2026

Added some blinkies to the top of my games page. This is how I will do them all I think - add a few related links to the top of each page, then use the site as my homepage with all my favourite links categorised. I was considering a blinkies page, or a side bar, but then you've gotta scan through scores of them to find the one you want - easier for anybody looking round the site as well!

March the 4th 2026

Added some more to my "Games" page - it mostly hovers around the turn of the millennium, probably because that's where I'd prefer to hover if I could control time!

February the 26th 2026

I've Added a review for the 90s video-review show "Vidz" that ran on Channel 4 late-night in the UK. I've always had a bit of a soft spot for it - me, and the other 30 people who actually remember watching it!

February the 18th 2026

I've Added some more stuff to my "Projects" page - other things I did in the army
(it's where I did most of my "Project-y" stuff!). I've been umming and ahh-ing about putting it up here for months, because war is a dirty business, and Neocities is a nice place. It started off as a "this is what I made/was involved in making", but it's gone a bit "off piste" unfortunately! These things are tied to some rather dark and weird real-world events, so obviously some of that has crept in, in fact a lot has crept in — it now mostly reads like gonzo journalism, Hunter S. Thompson would be proud! Although I think that guy was too insane to be proud of anything... I kinda know the feeling!

January the 8th 2026

Jesus... 2026... I remember thinking that the year 2000 was the distant future!
"Let's all meet up!" sang Jarvis Cocker... he still does... but now he does it ironically; because he's Jarvis Cocker, so he can get away with it! I chased him at Glastonbury once - I think it was '99 - he was in front of a few of us while we were walking to a band that wasn't Pulp (obviously), and me and a couple of mates were like "It's Jarvis Cocker!" - he looked at us with an "ahhh shit..." kind of a look, then starting running off... so we chased him, I've no idea why - he was wired... we were wired... it just seemed like the right thing to do! Anyway... I've lit some incense in the Shrines page (and added a flamey header), I've also added some waffle about the moon in "Thoughts", plus some other tweaks here and there over the past couple of days.

December the 30th 2025

Added a "latest update" link to the top of the "Games" page - if you click on the Master Chief you will be transported down the page to the newest bit of waffle I've put up. I'll add it to other pages when they get long enough I think, some won't need it as I'll place the newest stuff at the top, but "Games" kind of relies on a scrolling timeline.

December the 28th 2025

Added some extra jabber to my "Games" page - it now continues from '96 though to my PS1, Nintendo 64, and TINY Pentium II days circa '98 - I haven't altered the link as it's only a short scroll down. I've tweaked the Vagrus review a bit, I was thinking of ditching it, but i think it's more readable now - it's an awkward game to review!

December the 24th 2025

Added a review of the game "Vagrus - The Riven Realms" - it's a good game, though you might not get that impression from the first few paragraphs! I've also made some alterations on various pages to stuff I've written, layout, font shadow colours, and some other stuff.

December the 23rd 2025

Added a nav bar to the top of every page, and now the medallion at the bottom of each page takes you back to the top of the page instead of the homepage. Other minor alterations to the code, mainly trying to eliminate unused .css element selector blocks and declarations that do nothing or are overridden elsewhere - this helps to reduce how baffled I get when I'm trying to do something neat!

December the 21st 2025

Added some jabber to my "Games" page about the TIME PC my folks bought in '95. TIME was a PC hardware company in the UK, the computer didn't alter time or anything cool like that - it barely functioned as a computer in all honesty!

On top of that, for the last week or so I've been tweaking what I put up back in March. I've made a lot of changes to layout, headers and footers, the nav bar, and added a "Reviews" page. Ive also snipped a few things here and there -

mucho embellishmento!
